KUCHING: The Employee Provident Fund’s (EPF) Simpanan Syariah is now open for registration for all members at EPF branches nationwide.
The alternative EPF savings will be officially launched in January 2017.
Members who wish to convert their conventional EPF Savings to Simpanan Syariah can visit any EPF branch with their MyKad, while foreign nationals who are members should bring their passports.
EPF chief executive officer Datuk Shahril Ridza Ridzuan advised members to fully understand syariah principles before making their decision to move from the current conventional savings to Simpanan Syariah.
